Jamie Owen
Jamie Owen is no stranger to the sea. Growing up in Pembrokeshire, he and his brothers Huw and Richard spent their childhood on the water, messing about in boats on the river Cleddau. Their clapped-out outboard motor made them proficient early rowers. Jamie's broadcasting career started at BBC Radio Four in 1989 where among his other duties he delivered the Shipping Forecast. These days he is best known as the television news anchor on BBC Wales Today; he also hosts a Sunday programme on BBC Radio Wales.
