Alf Strange

Alf Strange was born in the village of Welsh Frankton, where his father was the blacksmith. Alf followed in his father's footsteps as blacksmith and farrier until a serious illness led to him becoming an author. Eventually he opened a museum showcasing the tools and equipment used in the smithy and farmhouse where he and his wife lived.
