Presenting files

We welcome correct PDF files. If unsure, ring us to check your settings. Or you may ‘package’ the work (or ‘collect for output’) from your layout programme. This enables us to access the original images and fonts in case of problems.

Our main programmes are InDesign and Quark (Mac and PC) but we can also accept work from other programs – ring us for advice.

Basic points for sending files:

  • All images should have a resolution of 300 dpi and if in colour, should be in four colours (CMYK) not three (RGB);
  • Allow a bleed of 5mm around the page and place crop marks 6mm from the page edge.

You may send us any files of up to 10Mb as an email attachment. If your files are bigger, use the We Transfer website (https://wetransfer. com/.)

For techincal advice on presenting work for print, contact our Production Manager, Paul Williams, on or ring him directly on 01970 831 901.
