Harri Pritchard Jones
Harri Pritchard Jones was born in England, and brought up on Anglesey. He spent ten years in Ireland, and graduated as a doctor in Dublin. He worked in Cardiff, Bangor and the Aran Islands in Galway Bay, where he began writing. He won prizes from the National Eisteddfod and the Arts Council. Harri Pritchard Jones was a Fellow of the Welsh Academy, an establishment he also chaired for a short period. He wrote poetry, short stories, criticism as well as novels, translations and televeision scripts. Harri Pritchard Jones died in 2015.
