Sheena Crossley

Sheena Crossley was born in Cornwall but now lives in Cardiff. Over the years she has been a regular broadcaster for BBC Radio Wales and HTV, written a gardening column in the South Wales Echo for 12 years and currently lectures in Horticulture at Pencoed College. Bats at Bay was her first publication, published by Pont Books in 2008 and the sequel Bats about Wales was published in 2010. Her experiences of the natural world and her role as a grandmother have given her the inspiration to write for children. She regularly visits local schools to hold workshops for children
