Ryan Davies

Ryan Davies was born in Glanamman and educated in Bangor and the Central School for Voice and Drama. He established himself as one of the funniest entertainers on programmes such as 'Fo a Fe' and 'Ryan a Ronnie'. He was also a composer, pianist and singer. The programme Ryan and Ronnie became so popular that it was moved to BBC1 and broadcast in English to a much wider audience. Ryan Davies died in 1977 whilst on holiday visiting friends in America.
