Nigel Owens is recognised as one of the world's top rugby referees. But he is also a successful comedian. In village halls, on television and even on the rugby pitch, he is one of Wales' wittiest performers. He began by impersonating one of Ifan Gruffydd's famous characters - Idwal - whilst at school. He evolved to telling jokes on stage until he was given the opportunity to perform on S4C's Noson Lawen.
