Ten writers with Cardiff etched on their souls pay tribute to the Welsh capital in all its glory and grime. Cardiff Central celebrates the history, geography, culture and sociology of the city in a series of autobiographical essays, providing us with different views and experiences of a traditionally diverse community. The ten prestigious writers are Dannie Abse, Gillian Clarke, Stella Levey, Leonora Brito, Peter Finch, Gwyneth Lewis, John Williams, Katie O'Reilly, Grahame Davies and Lloyd Robson. In absence or residence, all writers in turn explore their own identities as they seek to define Cardiff's.
