William Owen

William Owen is originally from north Anglesey, and was educated in Sir Thomas Jones' School, Amlwch and then Bangor University College. He was head of the religious education department at Ysgol Eifionydd for 25 years and spent another five years as press officer of the Pantycelyn Press. He regularly broadcasted on Radio Cymru for a time, and won several eisteddfod prizes including the Drama Medal at the National Eisteddfod in 1983.
