Owain Llyr

Owain Llŷr is originally from Tonyrefail near Pontypridd but moved to Drefach Felindre, Carmarthenshire when he was three years old. Since graduating in Photography, Film and Images from Napier University in Edinburgh, he has worked mailny as a television director. His film 'La Casa di Dio' – which recounts the history of a church in Ceredigion which was built by Italian prisoners of war during the Second World War – won Best European Documentary at the International Film Festival in Ireland in 2010 and Best British Documentary at Swansea Bay's Film Festival in 2010.
