Derek Bevan

Derek Bevan was an international rugby union referee. He refereed his first international match in 1984, and refereed at the 1987, 1991 (including the final between Australia and England) and 1995 Rugby World Cup. After his final international appearance at the 2000 Six Nations, Derek worked as a Television Match Official (TMO) until his retirement in 2016. He held the Welsh record for number of international matches refereed until 2013, when Nigel Owens became the record holder.
