Awen Schiavone
Awen was bought up in Pandy Tudur. After graduating from Cardiff University, she worked as a Welsh and Geography teacher, and then as a lecturer in Poland. She gained an MPhil in Children's Literature and worked in the field of bilingualism and adult education. She has spent periods travelling – in India, South America and south-east Asia mainly, and she has adventurous experiences of sailing between Pen Llŷn and Portugal. Awen enjoys music, books, diving and good food!
