Bob Owen

Professor Robert Owen was a leading Welsh orthopaedic surgeon who has lived life to the full. Raised on a farm near Llanystumdwy, he trained at Guy's Hospital before serving in the RAF and working as a consultant in Clwyd and as an academic in Liverpool. He has travelled widely in Africa and Nepal, sharing his knowledge of orthopaedics. He also helped establish the Clwyd Special Riding School. Bob Owen passed away in 2018.
