Tina Carr
Tina is an artist whose main concerns are social and environmental issues which form the basis of her photographic work. An earlier interest in mining was re-kindled when a move to Wales in 1982 brought her into close proximity to the largest lead/silver orefield in Britain. Tina has worked with Annemarie Schone on many occasions. Their extensive work on the orefields in Ceredigion (the book Pigs and Ingots shows a small part of this work) was first shown in an exhibition in Ffotogallery, Cardiff before touring widely in Wales, England and Germany for two and a half years.
