Christine Smeeth

Christine Smeeth is a well-known cookery writer. She has strong family ties with Wales and was brought up in an enviroment of wholesome country cooking. Christine trained as a Cordon Bleu Chef. After receiving many other qualifications she graduated as a home economist and stylist specialising in photographic shoots for the advertising and magazine markets and regularly worked for such companies as Heinz, Weightwatchers and Birds Eye/Walls. She has written numerous cookbooks and regularly contributed to many magazines enhancing her recipes with her own photography and illustrations. She has also been a cookery tutor, editor of the Royal Horticultureal Society Newsletter, and proprietor of Meare Manor Country Hotel.
