Manon Eames
Manon Eames was born in Bangor but now lives in Swansea. She graduated from Manchester University in 1980 and returned to Wales working as an actress with the companies Bag and Baggage and Hwyl a Fflag. She was one of the founding members of the Theatre of West Glamorgan and travelled Wales with numerous productions including Jeremeia Jones, Vanessa Drws Nesa, Para 'Mlaen, Dawns y Dodo and Clustiau Mawr Moch Bach. She translated Raymond Briggs' story 'When the Wind Blows' (A'r Gwynt i'r Drws Bob Bore) and Shirley Valentine (by Willy Russell) and co-wrote with other members of the company the series Tocyn Diwrnod for HTV Wales and Atodiad Lliw for BBC Radio Cymru.
