Rob Atenstaedt
Born in north Wales, Rob Atenstaedt studied medicine at Cambridge University and then completed a masters degree in the history of medicine (including studying the history of medicine in the Third Reich). This was followed by a PhD in modern history at Oxford University (where he wrote about military medicine in the First World War). He returned to north Wales in 2002. Rob is a previous winner of the Norah Shuster Prize in the History of Medicine.
