Mel Nurse

Mel Nurse has been a player, supporter, saviour and more to his hometown football club, Swansea. Mel served Swansea Town with distinction in two spells between 1955 and 1971 and also played for Wales alongside legends like the Charles brothers, Ivor Allchurch and Cliff Jones in a golden era for Welsh football. He then became a successful local businessman and twice helped to save Swansea City from closure.
