Dafydd Marks

Originally from the Gwendraeth Valley, Carmarthenshire, Dafydd Marks was educated in Gwendraeth Grammar School, University College of Wales, Aberystwyth and then Jesus College, Oxford. He was a clergyman in the parishes of Llandeilo, Llangathen and Llanddewi-y-crwys. In 1956 he was appointed the head of the Welsh Department, Saint David's College, Lampeter. Dafydd Marks died in 1999.
