Harri Gwyn
Born in London but moved to Penrhyndeudraeth when he was 4 years old. Harri Gwyn was educated in Bermo Grammar School and at the University College of Bangor. After a short period as a teacher he joined the Civil Service and worked in Warwick and London before returning to farm in Wales. In 1962 he moved to Bangor and worked on the programme "Heddiw" and was a radio programme producer until his retirement in 1979. He was also a poet, writer and a newspaper columnist. Harri Gwyn died in 1985.
