Roscoe Howells

Born in Saundersfoot in 1919 and brought up there during the years of depression when Bonvilleメs Court colliery closed down, Roscoe Howells is a writer whose work has always had as its hallmark a love of the countryside and a genuine sympathy with its people. A vice-president and former chairman of the Pembrokeshire Historical Society, of which he was a founder member, he was also a founder member and chairman of the old Pembrokeshire Records Society.
