David Brayley
David Brayley is a sportswriter and biographer from Swansea. He has collaborated with top sportspeople such as Glamorgan and Sussex cricket legend, Tony Cottey and one of the Barclays Premier League's leading defenders and captain of Wales, Ashley Williams on award nominated books. He is also an experienced sports columnist having ghosted Tony Cottey's popular South Wales Evening Post cricket column for seven seasons, written his own sports comment column in the Brighton based sports magazine "Sussex Sport" since 2010 and contributed to many other publications such as Swansea City's match day programme. He is a regular visitor to schools, promoting the importance of reading for pleasure and delivering writing workshops that inspire and enthuse young, reluctant readers to engage with literacy via sport.
