Iolo Williams
Born in Builth Wells, Iolo Williams spent most of his childhood in Llanwddyn (Lake Vyrnwy). After taking an ecology degree, he worked for a short time in farming and forestry before joining the staff of the RSPB in mid Wales. Frequently asked to contribute to radio and television, he left the RSPB after fourteen-and-a-half years to work in the media full-time. Since then he has become well-known as a TV presenter in both English and Welsh language series including Wild Wales, Wild Winter, Special Reserves, A Natural History of Wales, Crwydro and Teithiau Tramor Iolo. He is married with two sons.
