Iwan Rhys

Iwan Rhys grew up in Ponrthyrhyd, Cwm Gwendraeth. Iwan is a poet, and has won the Chair at the Urdd National Eisteddfod twice; in 2001 and in 2008. He was part of a poetry tour Crap ar Farddoni in 2006 with Catrin Dafydd, Hywel Griffiths, Aneirin Karadog and Eurig Salisbury. He's a member of several poetry teams who compete against each other. He is the author of a book of poetry entitled Eleni mewn Englynion (This Year in Verse). 'Y Bwrdd' is his first novel.
