A new volume on traditional Welsh music, written by one of the best-known characters in Wales, Meredydd Evans. He traces the history of folk songs, and in doing so, he studies the pioneers of the folk-song collectors in Wales, such as Iolo Morganwg and Maria Jane Williams, up until J. Lloyd Williams in the twentieth century.
