'Out at the Bright Edge - Poetry event with Caroline Clark

Join us at Aberystwyth Arts Centre bookshop at 6.30pm Monday, 9th of October for a poetry event with Caroline Clark and her brand new poetry collection, Out at the Bright Edge - Poetry from the Land Between Dyfi and Teifi.

Out at the Bright Edge is a collection of poetry rooted in North Ceredigion. The poems in this collection describe and respond to the landscape and history of the area from the Dyfi to the Teifi. They deal with ideas through a focus on place, capturing memorable moments in specific locations and celebrating an area of outstanding natural beauty and its long history.

Caroline Clark was born in Birmingham, but has lived in Aberystwyth for many years. After a career in teaching, she went on to organise festivals and adjudicate playwriting competitions for the Drama Association Wales, as well as advising on Welsh Arts Council committees. Her poems and short stories have won prizes and been published in anthologies, and she regularly reads her work at festivals and literary events.

All welcome!
