Autobiography of Brychan Llŷr, the musician and tv presenter. The son of Dic Jones, he is one of Cardigan's most well-known characters. At one point, Brychan Llŷr drank six bottles of wine a day. In 2011, against the advice of his doctor, he gave up drinking suddenly. He had a seizure which almost killed him, and he spent five weeks unconscious in hospital.
In this revealing autobiography, Brychan re-lives the emotional events and his attempts at dealing with his alcoholism. He also speaks openly about the effects of alcoholism on his family and his upbringing in Hendre.
We also see the story of a man who has worked in many diffrerent fields, including lead singer in the band Jess, 10 years as a professional musician in Italy, his dream of competing in the dangerous world of point on point horse racing and his career as a television presenter.
