The story of legendary Dai Morris, a member of the most successful Welsh rugby team of the 1970s - a man who worked shifts in the coal mine in the morning and played for his country in the afternoon.
Known as "Shadow" to his contemporaries, he played for Glynneath, Neath and Wales before dedicating himself to the resurgence of his home village rugby club, Rhigos RFC, of which he is so proud.
Dai tells his rugby story as well as mentioning his other interests, such as owning a racehorse. The book includes a foreword by Max Boyce, and tributes from: Gareth Edwards, Gerald Davies, John Dawes, Barry John, Phil Bennett and many others associated with 1970s rugby.
