Harold Carter

Professor Emeritus at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. During his career he was Visiting Professor and subsequently Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Cincinnati and many more. For his writings on the geography of Wales, including its language and culture, he was made a member of the Gorsedd of Bards at the Llanrwst Eisteddfod in 1990.
