Carmel Gahan

Carmel Gahan was born into a family of eleven children in Cork, Ireland, as a daughter to a policeman. She was educated in a nunneryas a teenager before going to the University College in Dublin where she met Meirion Pennar, a young lecturer that soon became her husband. They currently live in Llandysul.
