Hywel Gealy Rees
Hywel Gealy Rees was educated in Gwendraeth and Carmarthen, and then Swansea University College. He worked as an Assistant Information Officer with the BBC before being appointed the first Head of Information by the National Museum Wales. Hywel Gealy Rees is the son of W. M. Rees, who was the Secretary of the Protect Llangyndeyrn Committee during the successful objection to create a resevoir in Cwm Gwendraeth Fach.
