Fflur Dafydd wins Hay's Oxfam Emerging Writer Award
Fflur Dafydd has just achieved the recognition she so richly deserves by becoming Hay Festival's first ever Oxfam Emerging Writer, as the author of Alcemi's fourth novel to be published, Twenty Thousand Saints. Fflur is on the last leg of a whistle-stop summer promotional tour which included the massive Latitude Festival in Suffolk. The month-long tour, between 2 July and 7 August, also included events in Cardiff Millennium Centre and Cardiff The Red Cow/Y Fuwch Goch, and will have its finale in events at the National Eisteddfod of Wales, Bala, north Wales, 4-7 August.
