Gee Williams shortlisted for the Wales Book of the Year

Alcemi founding author who was shortlisted for the James Tait Black Award for Fiction for her first novel Salvage has had the range of her writing ability recognised. Her FANTASTIC second collection of short fiction, Blood Etc was published by Parthian in 2008. This collection was written before Salvage (Full Details) but published subsequently. If you want a celebration of different voices, cerebral power, sensual detail, real characters and an insight into the neglected corner of north-east Wales, look no further than Blood Etc. We wish Gee all the best of luck with Granta Books, who have just brought out the mass paperback version of Salvage.
